Thanks to the generosity of Susan Beckerman, the Beckerman Kolot Fund was established in 2003 to guarantee a state-of-the-field collection in women's and gender studies at the Mordecai M. Kaplan Library of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College.

The Beckerman Kolot Collection comprises books, periodicals, and other appropriate library resources in the areas of: women's studies, Jewish women's studies, gender studies, Judaism and gender, sexuality, and Jewish womens literature. A specially commissioned bookplate distinguishes the volumes of this ever-growing collection, which is expanded annually by virtue of this foresighted gift.
