RRC is an intimate learning community with a unique approach to rabbinical education. The College's rigorous 5-year rabbinical program of study exposes you to the sequential Reconstructionist view of Judaism as an evolving civilization. This means that every year you immerse yourself in one of the five principal historical periods of Jewish civilization: biblical, rabbinic, medieval, modern and contemporary.

Our students are a diverse mix of recent college graduates and accomplished professionals seeking leadership roles in the Jewish community. Because of their diverse interests, our graduates serve not only as congregational rabbis, but also as Hillel directors, senior professionals in Jewish agencies, Jewish educators, and as chaplains in hospitals and nursing homes.
