RRC Graduates its 300th rabbi

This year, the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College graduated 11 rabbinical students, bringing to more than 300 the total number of rabbis graduated from the institution. The landmark ceremony was the 35th in the College’s history.

RRC Publications

  • Rabbi Dan Ehrenkrantz, president of RRC, joined other leaders of the Reconstructionist movement to condemn bans on same-sex marriage in response to recent legislation.

     


  • This year’s Forward 50 from the Forward weekly newspaper cites Rabbi Dayle Friedman, an RRC faculty member and founder and director of Hiddur: The Center for Aging and Judaism of RRC, for calling attention to the needs and gifts of Judaism’s aging population.


  • The New York Times visited Philadelphia to observe members of "Walking the Walk," a multifaith teen program, as they learned dialogue skills from RRC student Rachel Weiss (pictured). Weiss’ internship with "Walking the Walk" is sponsored by RRC’s Multifaith Studies and Initiatives program, directed by Rabbi Nancy Fuchs Kreimer, ’82, Ph.D.
